Chapter 1873: Can’t Even Force a Smile

I asked you out today because I wanted to tell you I will soon become the largest shareholder of the Dan Clan. By then, with the Ye Group’s support, dealing with Dan Hanjie will be a piece of cake, and you’ll soon be able to avenge your father!"
Likewise, he will soon be able to exact his revenge.
"..."
Qin Youxuan was instantly choked up.
She never expected that Dan Hanjie would agree so readily to return the Dan Clan shares to Dan Hanxi; wasn’t this akin to letting the tiger back into the mountain?
With leverage against them in Dan Hanxi’s hands, he would surely be even harder to deal with.
"What’s wrong? You look upset." Dan Hanxi looked at his hand and then raised his head to look at her.
Qin Youxuan forced a smile, which soon disappeared.
"I’m indeed not happy. I just feel it’s not that simple. Dan Hanjie is someone so adept at scheming; how could he easily return the shares to you? What if he goes back on his word? What will you do then?"
"With my father’s will in place, he has no reason to go back on his word." Dan Hanxi’s eyes narrowed, a glint flashing through them.
