Chapter 1728: An Unexpected Surprise!
He would personally lead his team there because he was worried about Rui Hui, who was with Diwu Zexuan.
Unexpectedly, Diwu Zexuan pulled a fast one and made a quick getaway.
He took Rui Hui and found another way, returning to the United States.
In Texas, this was Diwu Zexuan’s territory. Even if they wanted to take action, they had to weigh the consequences carefully.
Duke was convinced that since Diwu Zexuan had used Rui Hui once, he would surely use her a second time, so his words didn’t count as lies at all.
At most, they were laced with some of his own speculation.
"I understand. Thank you for coming all the way to tell me. I just want to be alone for a while, so I won’t see you out." Rui Hui lowered her eyes in desolation and gently parted her lips.
"You know everything and yet still choose to stay by his side?" Duke looked at her with some surprise.
He thought that with Rui Hui’s pride, upon knowing that Diwu Zexuan had been using her all along, she would be very angry, perhaps even unable to accept it.
She might even break up with Diwu Zexuan immediately.
