Chapter 190: The Blue Girl: Epilogue (3)
The Hungry Ghost Reaper slowly looked around with its hazy eyes. Its master’s workshop, which was bustling with Mini Reapers, became deserted as soon as the lead doll ran away to the garden. All that was left were a few Golden Reapers who were having fun riding the tools used in alchemy like it was a plaything.
Looking at the cute, kind, and curious Golden Reapers, the Hungry Ghost Reaper thought that if the master had a child, it would be like them.
The numerous tools in the workshop occupied no special place in the memory of the Hungry Ghost Reaper. No matter how precious they were, it was of no importance to it. The only things that had a special place in its memory were its master, the bed where the master always lay, and the mirror.
The lead doll had taken the bed, so all that was left was the mirror.
Plop-! Plop-!
As It slowly walked and stood in front of the mirror, the nostalgic scene played again.
Whenever it looked into the mirror, It felt sad and sorrowful because the past that It could not return to was so beautiful, but now It did not feel that way. It just quietly reminiscing on past memories while watching the video.
When the mirror that played all the videos stopped moving and returned to being a normal mirror, the Hungry Ghost Reaper saw its own face sporting an unfamiliar expression: A smile that indicated that it was happy.
It wasn’t happy just because It had survived and was able to see the master’s plan through to the end. It was because It felt a familiar atmosphere from the lead doll.
The lead doll may have the master in it.
Just that small hope made the Hungry Ghost Reaper feel really happy.
The Hungry Ghost Reaper slowly rubbed the corner of its mouth and smiled even brighter. Then it ripped off the mirror and walked with a thump towards the new master.
