While they were discussing when to handle the hospital discharge, a soft knock suddenly sounded from outside the ward.
Sheila’s closest friend by the door opened it and upon seeing the visitor, her body instinctively stepped back two paces.
Everyone’s gaze followed the sound of the door opening and looked over.
The man who entered was the one in a suit who had appeared at the Special Affairs Bureau meeting, followed by two accompanying personnel.
After entering, he didn’t speak but first let the two accompanying individuals place the fresh flowers, fruits, and gifts they brought onto the table beside the bed.
Seeing that the visitor wasn’t there to cause trouble, the friend who opened the door finally breathed a sigh of relief; his aura was simply too strong, making her feel an urge to flee upon meeting him.
Just when everyone thought he might be a friend of Hilbert’s or a businessman who especially came to visit him during his illness, he walked up to Li Ang with a smile and spoke apologetically,
