Katerina was about to take out the room card when Li Ang waved her off, signaling that he would handle it.
Meanwhile, several people lying in ambush inside, seeing the two outsiders come up to the door but not entering, quickly changed their plan.
The team leader inside made a gesture to a burly man in heavy armor, and the others made way for him.
If the ambush wasn’t successful, then taking the initiative to attack was the next best thing. It was crucial to strike first, or they risked their quarry escaping, and their mission would be a complete failure.
The heavily armored giant, both tall and heavy, took a few steps back, then charged toward the wall beside the room door.

Outside in the corridor, Li Ang, too, had a smile on his lips. He had been about to break the door down himself but paused when he sensed their movement inside, wanting to play with them a bit.
Even Katerina could hear the commotion inside her room by now, but she smartly stepped aside. She was well aware of Li Ang’s strength and knew that the best she could do was not to get in the way.
Though Li Ang in the corridor had virtually no room to accelerate, with a single step, he moved at a speed that was beyond increasing.
Katerina held her breath as she watched. As a leg strength enhancer, she considered herself to have the final say when it came to leg power.
