Professor Rupert couldn’t bother to ask more questions and immediately stood up, snatching the tablet from the student’s hands.
Looking at the selectable difficulty levels photographed on the instrument, Rupert felt his heart was about to leap out of his chest.
"X level, someone actually reached the X level!"
It was understandable that the student had never heard of this level because this level of test didn’t originally exist in the device’s design, but was whimsically added by Rupert himself.
The original design of the reaction test device did not distribute the levels like this but was the same as the X level test Li Ang had attempted.
From the beginning to the end, there was only one difficulty level, but the speed and firing rate of the bullets would continuously increase with time until reaching the maximum operating power of the machine.
However, as he was about to finish designing, the client changed their requirements, hoping for more clearly defined levels of testing, a sense of breakthrough, and so forth, forcing him to change the latter part of the testing plan to the current style of different levels.
Since the previous design was already halfway done, Rupert didn’t want to waste it, so he simply included it as well, but set the initial difficulty at the SSS level and put it after the highest level of difficulty had been cleared as a little Easter egg of his own creation.
Unfortunately, over the years, the abilities of Mutant Warriors fell short of his expectations, and to date, not a single one had managed to pass the S level test.
Rupert originally thought that his Easter egg would never be discovered by anyone in his lifetime, but to his surprise, there actually was someone who had achieved such a level.
"Quick! Quick! Help me get in touch with their commander, I need all the data on this tester!"
Rupert sat excitedly on the sofa, his skin, which had become pale and sickly from staying indoors without sun exposure, began to flush due to his quickened heartbeat.
