"Sir, we suspect that there may be prohibited items in your suitcase. Please cooperate with our investigation."
Despite sensing a faint malice emanating from the security officer, Li Ang didn’t find it particularly strange. If there were indeed something inappropriate for flight in his suitcase, it would be normal for the security officer to harbor ill will towards him.
He patiently, along with Catina, opened the suitcase and started removing items one by one for the security officer to inspect.
But soon, he noticed something was amiss.
The pace at which today’s security officer was inspecting seemed excessively slow. Every single item in the suitcase was turned inside out for a meticulous search, to check for any abnormalities.
"I think you should speed up your inspection, as it could affect our boarding time,"
Catina said, frowning.
The neatly folded clothes were now a mess, and even the photography equipment had been disassembled wherever possible for inspection.
Putting everything back the way it was would take a considerable amount of time.
There weren’t many flights to that destination, and if they missed this one, they’d likely have to wait for the evening flight.
