Chapter 194 - 155: Not Dead at the Tomb
Early in the morning, Li Ang’s phone rang.
"Come on, sir, just because I signed up for a membership doesn’t mean the delivery should be this fast, right?"
Li Ang answered the phone, a little surprised. As soon as the person on the other end said "hi," his brain whirred into action and recognized the voice—it was that of Olsad, the top American racing team manager Sheila had introduced him to at a dinner event.
"I’m calling to ask if you have time to come over for the team’s training soon. I know it might be difficult for you to manage your schoolwork and get leave, but I hope you can come as soon as possible. After all, this is a precious opportunity."
"I can come at any time. As for my studies, I’ve already handled the leave of absence."
Li Ang replied without any hesitation.
Olsad on the other end of the line was clearly surprised by Li Ang’s response. For a high school student to make such a decision took quite a bit of courage.
He couldn’t help but raise his estimation of Li Ang a few notches.
"If that’s the case, then that’s great. I hope you can come as soon as possible."
On the phone, the two also coordinated the details about the time and place.
