The first trial, turned out to be an endless horde of beasts.

Though essentially, these beast floods, to some extent, were caused by the overly rapid breeding of Demon Beasts, unable to sustain a large number of low-level Demon Beasts, thus the floods were formed to reduce their numbers, survival of the fittest, a part of the rules of Heavenly Dao.
But the beast flood he faced then was nothing like the Demon Beasts before him now. The horror of a beast flood lay in its relentless, endless waves which could not be seen in entirety – a truly terrifying aspect of the beast floods, where besides the high-end forces of the Mortal World taking action, with Mu Can’s strength back then, facing the beast flood alone would have been a joke.
However, the horde before him now was different, the Demon Beasts stepping out of the four screens did not approach the multitude needed for a flood, but in terms of strength, each was at least at the level of a Martial Arts Sect.
By the time all the Demon Beasts had emerged from the screens, Mu Can roughly counted at least forty various shaped Demon Beasts standing before him, their pair of red eyes void of any emotion, just like Puppets.
"Puppets?" Mu Can thought of something, in this secluded Immortal Ancient Secret Realm, it was hardly possible for such a horde to naturally form, hence there was only one possibility – the Demon Beasts before him were all Puppets.
Since they were Puppets, Mu Can felt confident, in the Mortal World, even the most powerful Puppets had their weaknesses, certainly not as flexible as living creatures.
"Come on!" Mu Can roared, activating Mystic Dragon Nine Revolutions instantly, transforming himself into a Half-dragon state.
