Just as they entered the city, a figure swiftly passed by. Wuchang followed closely behind and, upon reaching a corner, the figure disappeared without a trace. It was a residence, a household in the city.
At the moment, the house’s doors were tightly shut, showing no sign that someone had entered.
Mu Can broke in, but immediately halted in his tracks.
As soon as he entered the courtyard, he was shocked by the sight before him. In the center of the yard, over thirty bodies were neatly arranged. Among them were not only the elderly but also children, and all were without their heads.
