Path of Alchemy Mastery

Chapter 159 - 161 The Descent of the Exalted Highness

"Passing through this door will allow us to leave the Death Maze," said Poor Tiger, pointing to the giant portal suspended in the air.

Mu Can sighed, relieved to finally be able to leave this place, believing himself to be the first, and could hardly wait to depart.

After solemnly bidding farewell to Poor Tiger, Mu Can and Purple Cloud stepped through the portal.

"I’ll come back to find you later," Poor Tiger and the little demon waved and shouted, for though they had not known each other long, a deep friendship had already been established.

Crossing through the portal, an exceptionally vast and open space appeared, within it an ancient altar sat as though it had always been there, emanating an age-old aura.

"Mu Can has left the Death Maze, ranking number one," a notification sounded in everyone’s ears.

Mu Can, with Purple Cloud, ascended the altar not knowing what material it was made of, and noticed that it still bore traces of slashes from swords and knives, some spots even had dark red blood that shimmered faintly.

"This altar is no ordinary object," Purple Cloud said with a solemn expression, feeling an extraordinary pressure from the blood, surpassing even that of Immortal Venerables.

It was clear that those who had spilled their blood on the altar must have had a very high level of cultivation.

"Transcendence into sanctity," Purple Cloud reflected, wondering about the kinds of battles that must have been fought here.

Mu Can gently touched the traces on the altar, observing a massive knife mark as if witnessing a peerless Swordsman fiercely slash it, the blade gleaming coldly as it struck the altar.
