The position Mu Can was in was the center of the plain, with the vast expanse of flat land offering no coverage at all. It essentially nullified the strategies of those who wanted to just hide out somewhere and reap the benefits in the end. To survive till the end and claim the final victory was simple: fight.
Mu Can slowly relaxed his body; before the onslaught of a great battle, one must have a good frame of mind.
Purple Cloud gently patted Mu Can’s shoulder. Standing beside him, she was already quite tall but now appeared even slightly taller than Mu Can himself, giving off somewhat of an elder’s encouragement to the younger generation vibe.
"Don’t worry, big sister Yun. I’ll try my best not to make you move," Mu Can said, clenching his fists.
"Mhm, safety first," Purple Cloud acknowledged what Mu Can meant. The path to becoming a strong person is trod through battle. Purple Cloud fully supported Mu Can’s choice, a thousandfold.
