Mu Can couldn’t help but shake his head amusedly, giving Zhang Baobao a knowing look, signaling him to follow outside.
Zhang Baobao waved his hand to call over a servant to settle all the bills, then scurried after Mu Can out of the tavern.
Just as Mu Can stepped out, he noticed Long Yunyun standing there with a sulking face looking at him, and he promptly squeezed out a smile in response.
"What are you smiling about?" Long Yunyun asked grumpily when she saw Mu Can smiling at her.
"It’s nothing, I was just thinking of introducing a friend to you," Mu Can said, waving his hand towards Long Yunyun, not wanting to confront her directly.
Giving Zhang Baobao a look that said ’you’re on your own’, Mu Can turned to Long Yunyun and introduced, "This is Zhang Baobao, also known as Zhang Yuan Bao, a friend’s younger brother. It just so happens that he’ll be accompanying us on our way."
Zhang Baobao looked gratefully at Mu Can upon hearing this.
Hearing Mu Can’s words, Long Yunyun sneered, "Huh, did he give you something nice for this?"
Mu Can quickly spread his hands, "I swear, he’s truly my friend’s brother."
"No need for that, just let him fend for himself. I don’t hold back when I strike," said Long Yunyun coldly, pulling out her weapon and mounting her steed to head outside the city.
The group continued on their way, the only change from before was that Zhang Baobao had joined the team.
