Transmigration: Lady Chi Woos The Ice cold Professor Jun

Chapter 681: Don’t be a hero

The trucks came to an abrupt stop, and the drivers had to alight and inspect the vehicles for damages. They did so tensely, with their hands on their weapons.

Chi Lian and Muyang came out from the shadows, shooting at the men with smart guns and darting from one place to another like invisible ghosts. The men tried to fight back futilely and when they failed, one tried to call for help but the phones were not working and within one minute, all the drivers were on the ground sleeping.

While the drivers were easy to take care of, the bigger challenge was the three opponents hiding in the back of each truck with weapons. The trucks had reinforcements on the doors and they were sealed like armored trucks. The moment they opened those doors, the bad guys would start firing immediately.

This was why Chi Lian and Muyang had no plans of getting in from the back as expected, they moved to the top of the trucks. Each of them had a cutter that automatically made a round hole in the top of the truck giving them a way inside directly.

They started firing immediately, before their feet could even touch the bottom of the trucks. Meili and the other robot butlers were doing the same in the other trucks. They had trained to do this multiple times in under ten minutes and disappear so they were well coordinated and prepared.

Chi Lian was so focused on this mission, taking down all her opponents in thirty seconds. One was left, and she was pointing a gun at her.

"Look around you buddy, don’t be a hero." she told him. "I have not killed any of your friends so don’t make me kill you."

She could tell that this was a woman, judging from her figure, despite the black mask with which she covered her face.

"I am not.." the woman sneered and lifted her head but her words were quickly cut off because Chi Lian shot one bullet into her neck the moment she tilted her head slightly. The smart bullets were effective, because one instantly fell asleep the moment they penetrated the body. They were small and dissolvable, leaving a small wound that could be attributed to the bite of a mosquito.

She walked over to the woman and kicked her gently with her foot, ensuring that she had been hit.

"It’s a success on my side." she said into the small ear piece in her ear.
