Chapter 662: Friend, we missed you.
As soon as she entered the half filled cafeteria, Chi Lian was surprised to see her closest friends inside, sitting at a table that had one empty chair that was obviously meant for her.
Her hand automatically went up and she waved at them as they did at her. Xue Lili was even shouting loudly.
"CEO, over here."
She went over as quickly as she could and slid into the empty chair Lili and Rize. The others who had come were Qin Meng, Yifei, Cherry and Manchu.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asked them.
"We came to surprise you." Lili answered eagerly. Then she screamed happily and gave Chi Lian a hug from the side as she squealed, "Ah, you look so beautiful, where did you get the dress from and how could you leave us behind at such a scary time in your life? Do you know how worried we were about you and your husband?" She rubbed her head against Chi Lian’s arm and wheeled like a baby.
Rize could not stand to watch this and she said, "You sound like that deranged fan who denounced everything phoenix because she was denied access into the search for Jun Muyang."
"Hey," Lili snapped at Rize and she tilted her head, "Don’t compare me to that idiot."
"Wasn’t that post deleted?" Manchu who had a hand covered over mouth asked.
"Are you forgetting the quickness of netizens? People took screenshots of the post and they are still sharing it. The original post was deleted because the one who posted it was receiving a lot of insults." Cherry told them. "It’s a woman, and someone shared her pictures. She goes to crown university, I bet she will show up online crying that she is being bullied. Sister-in-law, stay out of it, when that happens because I am sure she will claim that you sent people to harass her."
"I have been in meetings all morning so where would I find time to harass a young woman that probably wrote that comment because of youth and idiocrasy? Anyway, everyone has a plate of food but me, I am going to get myself food first."
