Chapter 658: Hello old not friend
She located the VIP rooms very quickly and found Yan Daya even faster because T4 had already provided her location. It was easy to get into her room because there was no private guard on the door. To make it even more convenient, there was no nurse in sight, all was quite and peaceful.
Chi Lian pushed the door open, went inside and then closed it gently. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the bed which was in the middle of the room. Yan Daya was it’s only occupant and she was sleeping, or so it seemed because she was breathing gently and evenly.
First, Chi Lian walked over to the open door which led out to the balcony and she closed it. Then, she observed the room some more, it was similar to most VIP wards of hospitals. There was a potted plant by the door leading to the balcony.
A table close to the window on which ten flower bouquets were sitting. There were juice boxes, fruits, and a teddy bear as well. Not to be forgotten by the relatives or friends of Yan Daya were balloons and get well cards.
She touched one the cards, and read the hand written note stuck on the inside.
"Get well soon friend, xoxo."
It made her scoff and sneer at the same time, "How ridiculous." she threw it back on to the table carelessly, never minding where it landed or bothering to put it back as she had found it.
"It’s not as if she can read it now so why bother?" T4 asked, equally filled with as much disdain for the well wishers as her host did.
"I bet some of them are mocking her," Chi Lian said. She looked at the bed and quickened her steps until she reached the bed itself, and stood over Yan Daya’s sleeping body.
She shook her awake roughly, "Oy, wake up, old friend. No, we are not friends, you are the woman who intended to murder my children."
Yan Daya was startled and she sat abruptly, seemingly terrified. She tried to touch the closest areas around the bed in which she was lying in a panic, but her bandaged hands which had been screwed together could hardly move to aid her.
