Chapter 650: A good or bad father
Suddenly no one on the shore knew what to do next, the woman who had just fired a missile was standing still and smiling. And it was no soft smile, it was a half smile that partly appeared to be a sneer. She meant business, anybody could tell.
"Are you sure you want to interfere with our mission?" the man on his knees asked Muyang.
Bang! a sound was made, which was the clear sound of a gun being fired and one of the masked men fell to the ground, holding his leg.
"He twitched." Chi Lian said and she shrugged.
The other soldiers who were confused aimed their weapons at Chi Lian. "Colonel, we have a situation." one of them said into his wireless microphone. "Get to to the shores quickly."
More soldiers were escaping from the compound now because the explosion had created confusion. Along with the soldiers came Muyang’s brothers who were stunned by the sight of Chi Lian carrying a missile projector on her shoulder and a gun which was pointing at any of the soldiers. From the angle where they stood, they could not be sure who the barrel of her weapon was aimed at.
And then, there was their brother whose gun was on the head of another soldier.
Even though these soldiers wore the uniform of their army, their faces were covered.
"Don’t tell me_" Ringo said, worried and unsure.
