Chapter 640: Like the gates of hell
At night, all the different family members who were on the yacht moved to the submarine. It was time for the mission, so hugs and assurances were given. A few tears were even shed by the old madam and mama Chi especially which resulted in more assurances.
Due to age, the old master would sit this one out and leave it to the young ones. He stayed behind, watching those who ventured onto the island on a screen in the control room of the huge submarine.
"Nobody die." Muyang told everyone before they got into the submersibles which would be delivering them on to the island.
They landed close to a narrow cove through which they would have to pass through before reaching the first obstacle, an electric fence that surrounded almost the entirety of the island. It really should have taken a long year or two to fence off all of it because the island was not small.
Additionally, it’s terrain was rough and rocky with a thick dangerous forest. There were watch towers close to the fence and cameras every twenty steps. The security here was tight, as the guards were armed and rotating around.
Nothing would be stepping foot on the island without the knowledge of the occupants.
But these were no ordinary intruders, they came wearing invisible suits which made it easy to move unseen. But they also had to be very quiet to ensure that they were unheard because there were noise measuring devices on top of the electric fence.
They made it through the tiny cove in a short period of time and came out at the other end of the island, heading into the forest.
She stopped first and turned around and said to to the others, "Everyone, follow my footsteps precisely, step where I step. If I run, you run and if I take two steps you do the same. As you all know from before there are landmines buried in some parts of the ground. Until we get to their farms, we have to be careful."
