Chapter 630: Jun Muyang’s widow
In the morning, Chi Lian insisted on leaving the hospital against the doctor’s advise. Why would she lay in bed pretending after what T4 had told her?
Muyang was injured, his left eye had been badly damaged in the plane crush. The rest of him was okay but the eye, T4 said, it was likely that it could not be saved.
She had observed his condition inside the submarine all night while Meili and the other robot butlers tended to Muyang.
Four of his men that were in on the plot were on the submarine as well, one had burns on his arm, another had a concussion and the other two were perfectly fine.
Yan Daya was unconscious, not from the accident but Muyang’s men made sure she was unconscious. All of her guards were dead, Meili had told her that they had been killed on the plane, before the crush.
"Chi-Chi, you cannot leave, what are you going to do?" her mother asked her.
She was very worried, and so was her father. All of the Chi’s were here by her bedside, together with the old madam and the children. Everyone wore a grave face, there was no update on the situation. Muyang was still missing.
"Listen to your mother, Chi-Chi, for God’s sake what exactly are you thinking?"
"I am thinking of going to look for my husband." she answered.
"Dear, your grandfather’s are taking care of that." her mother said, "Even the emperor has sent help and the coast guard is also looking. The helicopters from kite air are flying over the area, the search is on, what can you possibly do at the scene except to make everyone worry?"
"I don’t know, mother, but it’s better than sitting here idly." she answered. "My husband is out there, and he is injured." She surprised herself by crying genuine tears of pain and anguish.
