Chapter 618: A trespasser
Ringo pulled Cherry away from the other women when that old disco tune started playing as well. Why should he dance solo when he had a partner?
"Since when you do you dance publicly?" She asked him.
"Only when the wine is good, the music is great and I have in my arms the most beautiful woman in the empire." He lifted her and spun her around.
She laughed with joy and raised her arms up, drawing the attention of those closest to them.
"You realize that I had to force you to come to this thing and yet you are having more fun than I am." She said.
When they were dressing up for the wedding at home he had grumbled and called the wedding a ’shindig.’ And yet, he had been smiling ever since the dancing, drinking and eating started.
"This is why every man needs a wife who forces him to participate in events he doesn’t like but eventually will enjoy. Those two look like they are having more fun than we are." He looked in the direction of Muyang and Chi Lian.
Muyang was spinning Chi Lian from side to side gently and they were clapping as well with goofy smiles on their faces.
"I saw him frowning in the direction of the children earlier, see, if his wife was not here he would not be having as much fun." Ringo chuckled as he recalled his brother’s unhappiness at the sight of the little boy who was currently holding a juice box for Mei-Mei while the little princess sat in a chair and sipped slowly, shaking her head along to the music.
He looked around for little monk and saw him playing that puzzle challenge game with Fu Jui.
Not even one minute later, Chi Wei came and took over and he relieved Wuxi from the duty which had not been assigned to him.
