Chapter 601: Leave it all to me
Muyang’s home office was a replica of his work office, even the virtual hamster next to his computer which sleeping at the moment.
The only difference between them was the long brown partitioned shelf in front of the back wall which was filled with many books.
He sat down in his large chair and pulled her down, ensuring that she was comfortably snuggled against his chest.
She did not find this position appropriate for the conversation they were about to have but with the kind he had on her, she could not get up. This was a cuddly position, one for when they were in a good mood, being intimate or simply spending some relaxing time together.
"You look worried." he said. He had been studying her for quite sometime now and the closer they came to the office the more anxious she seemed to become. She kept rubbing her hands as if she was cold which was not the case, it was one of her nervous habits. "You can tell me anything Chi-Chi, whatever it is, we will deal with it together." he assured her.
"I.." she said, then she shook her shoulders and took a deep breath. "I did not show you this because I was worried about what you would do." she said.
He nodded, urging her with his eyes to go on.
Again, she sighed, loudly this time, frowning as well as if the words were being pried out of her mouth forcefully. "You already know that I have been keeping a close eye on the Yan’s and the crown princess. When we were on vacation, I got my hands on some footage of Yan Daya, Yan Moon, Yan Feng and the crown princess discussing something pretty disgusting and grotesque."
She paused, and blew some air from her mouth.
