Chapter 521: We are blue!!
The evening breeze, the newly planted palm trees and the lights which had been hung up in celebration of liberation day made the atmosphere in the courts quite lovely, romantic even. Walking hand in hand, Chi Lian and Muyang had little secretive smiles on their faces. Even their footsteps were in tune, the left foot coming after the right one. It was actually a great evening for a walk.
"You left me behind." She heard T4’s unhappy voice in her mind. "This is supposed to be my walk and I don’t see myself, do you?"
"Sorry T4." She apologized genuinely, "I will take you for the walk tomorrow after I leave the office. Or you can come with me to work, I can have you dropped off at a vets hospital for a massage and then I will order for you a full course meal from the royal kitchen.
"Deal." He was quick to accept which made her suspicious. Normally T4 would bargain for more, why the sudden easy acceptance?
They had been walking slowly for around thirty minutes when Chi Lian suddenly said to Muyang, "Hubby, you suggested this walk on purpose, right?"
"I just wanted to walk with my wife on this beautiful evening. I also wanted us to look at the progress our house has made so far. We will be able to move in after next month. Isn’t it exciting?"
"So exciting." She smiled with happiness. "I can’t believe that we are soon going to our own home. I am going to be personally responsible for all the decorations. Originally I was thinking that perhaps the person who designed your Beverly Hills house would do it for us but I realized that house was not decorated with little children in mind. I want our home to be elegant but warm and inviting. I.."
"DING!" The alert in her mind forced her to break off. "Congratulations host, you have leveled up. "What’s wrong?" Muyang noticed that she had stopped walking. He looked in the direction where her eyes were gazing and all he saw were children chasing each other.
"I just love looking at the children." She said, "They look so happy and free."
