Chapter 517: Unveiling our past
Chi Lian and Chi Rui had small smiles on their faces because the performance was a traditional classic dance and the two Shu brothers played their guzhengs. They were accompanied by an older man, she had no idea who he was but he played the flute beautifully, it brought a smile to her face and for a minute she closed her eyes. She ignored the dancers and concentrated on the soothing music which was enchanting. Those two brothers had to have been blessed by the god of ancient music because their few performances had been described as out of this world and heavenly. She had to concur with those judgements because it truly was magical, watching them perform could cure a sad heart by forcing you to cry the sadness out.
"Honey, are you doing okay?" She heard Muyang whisper in her ears and she opened her eyes.
"It’s beautiful, the music." She amended, "The dancers are good but the music is quite magical."
She was not the only to think so, the tune was already being discussed on hot topics and being dissected by composers online.
The performance ended and it was the moment which required which required everyone to sit up, smile and look attentive. In the back, an old man had slept off to the tune of the Shu brothers music and his grandson woke him up. You did not want to be caught on television as the individual that slept through the emperor’s speech.

"Waah, the emperor is so handsome." A young woman said. She was not the only one to think so for the emperor was ranked among the most handsome men in the empire every year in many magazines and it was not because of his wealth, position or power but his looks.
The Long’s were very good looking and many people attributed this to the fact that none of them chose unappealing spouses. To marry into the royal family one needed to have looks, good education and an impressive background.
