Chapter 487: My edible wife
Similar to what the old madam had done when she narrated the palace adventure to the her husband, Chi Lian narrated her American adventure to Muyang, leaving out nothing except for the T4’s involvement here and there.
"Are you sure that leaving that Wusi with the princess is a good idea? As long as he breathes I feel uneasy." Muyang could still not believe some of the things she had told him.
They had both just stepped out of the bathroom and were getting ready for bed. "I made sure that he can neither talk nor write, trust me no matter where he is he will never be able to make a sound. I want him alive so that he can learn a lesson on the consequences of betrayal. Death would be a welcome relief to him at this point."
Muyang passed her the oil that she applied to her hands. "I still can’t believe that you kept a such a big secret from me." he shook his head in disbelief.
"I didn’t mean to hubby, I forgot about it completely, it was if my mind permanently blocked it out until I saw Wusi with my own two eyes again. The shock I experienced was like a jolt of lightning."
"Does this make Rose a princess or not?" he asked her.
"I think not, unless Rose’s father was a royal from another country that was undercover. You know those movies where a prince or heir of a rich family fakes an identity and lives like a poor person to get life experience. But I highly doubt it because the princess said that her dalliance was with a boy that did not match her status and her father ended the relationship. If he was rich he would have showed up later with his true identity, it always happens that way in movies, unless the American king had the boy killed."
Muyand tsked and shook his head, "Between you and my grandmother I do not know who is having a bigger influence on the other. Your mind is becoming just as dramatic as hers." he commented as they got into bed.
"Grandma is definitely more dramatic than me, did you see how soft spoken she was in the palace."
Muyang placed a hand over his chest and bent slightly, "Your majesty, my old legs will come running." he said in a small voice. They looked at each other and burst out loud in laughter. "She is really dramatic I swear, I don’t know how grandpa handles it."
"He loves her." Chi Lian said, "It’s easy."
