Right on cue, the old madam pressed her hand slightly, warning her to be careful about what she said.

Chi Lian looked at Muyang and he nodded, assuring her to speak her mind.
"I apologize your majesty, I should have made things clearer. I think that the princess and my brother are well suited for each other. He is head over heels for her and he has a calming effect on her. I also know that he a plan to propose marriage to her this year. They are in a wonderful place right now and seem to be very happy together, I think the relationship is is a big success."
"There you go." the emperor nodded in approval, "All I needed to know was what plans he has for my daughter. I find it highly displeasing because they have been dating for many months now but your brother is yet to come and pay a visit to the empress and I. He cannot use Rize as an excuse claiming that he is waiting for her invitation or mine because a man must always take the lead in a relationship. How will my darling daughter know if he is serious about her if he has not yet asked her to initiate any form of contact with her family? He is to be brazenly featured in your magazine with my daughter discussing the details of the relationship but the content of the interview has not even been shared with this royal family. I expect to receive a copy of that magazine before you officially print and send it out because some things about our family and way of life are best left out of the press. Now I can either contact your brother through you or directly but either way my message is the same, I expect to see him with my daughter in this royal palace before the week ends. Should they fail to show up then I will consider the relationship unserious and ask them to terminate it immediately." He stood up and came down from his seat, the royal butler followed him, "You can all follow me." he said when he reached them.
They walked slowly beside the royal butler because they had to follow the pace which the emperor set.
