Chapter 480: The emperor is quite cunning.
She had gone for so many dangerous missions in her life, hiked through dangerous jungles to engage enemies in her past life. She had gone into war zones and killed many combatants as a soldier, almost dying herself in those war zones. She had hit a bomb as if she hitting a base ball with no fear, climbed a very high mountain fortress to rescue Tang Simin, faced a big snake that could easily have squeezed and broken every bone in her body. She had chased and caught a serial killer in a forest. There were so many things that she had done which were scary and dangerous, they should have frightened her more than meeting the emperor. For crying out loud, the man had attended her Christmas party and her spring festival gala. Even if he never made it known and wore a disguise on both occasions she knew who he was. And yet, she could not explain why she was feeling unnaturally fearful right now.
It was unlike her to be frightened of most things, so why should the emperor be any different? Was it because of how much power he had? Why she she so nervous that her stomach was tied up in knots?
Muyang must have sensed her fear because she felt his hand reaching out and holding hers. She clenched his hand tight and took in three deep breaths steadily. ’Everything is going to be okay.’ she reassured herself. The emperor was well aware of her character, she had nothing to fear.
"If he tries anything just evaporate him and take over the throne.." T4 suggested.
She knew that something like that was coming, she could always count on T4 to make such a suggestion.
"Leave matters of humans to the humans." she told him.
From down below where her eyes were facing the floor, she saw the royal butler’s feet pass by them and stand beside the large seat.
"The emperor is arriving," he announced.
Their heads which were facing the ground naturally bent even lower as if something pushed them down.
