Chapter 459: The work ethic of two women.
All of this that was happening, Chi Lian was not aware of because she was winding up her trip to universal studios and currently taking pictures while standing on the Hollywood walk of fame stars for the actors and actresses’ she loved. She took pictures with all sorts of impersonators including an Elvis one and some that were dressed as members of the royal family.
"Do you want to go to Disneyworld next?" Ian asked her.
"Oooh." her eyes widened. "But I will feel guilty if I enjoy all those rides alone. I will go when I come with my children, that’s a promise I am making to myself." she looked up at the sky as if she was swearing an oath.
"Where do you want to go then?" He asked her.
As she thought she saw Wenli checking the time on her wrist over and over. Short of telling Chi Lian with her mouth that they did not much time to play around, she was using so many other signals to hint at it.
"We have to work, let’s just go back to the house. Tomorrow morning I will go shopping. " she replied to Ian.
She could feel Wenli’s eyes burning into the many bags they were lagging around which were filled with snacks, sweets and all sorts of Hollywood souvenirs. She was probably wondering what more shopping Chi Lian had to do.
"The two of you really have a serious work ethic, this should be a vacation, it’s LA baby. I love you LA." He shouted loudly into the open air.
"I love you too." Someone shouted back.
