Chapter 410: Contract Termination
Chi Rui’s office was occupied by four lawyers in black suits and two bodyguards that were shadowing Du Moxi. She looked so petulant, unapologetic just a bit proud in front of Chi Lian and Chi Rui.
She was dressed in a short white dress, the design was similar to the dress that had she wore on her debut at the camp ground. She was obviously doing this to mock them in a way.
She was adorned in expensive jewelry, the necklace on her neck in particular was outstanding, it was a green sapphire key shaped necklace. It must have cost an arm and a leg to someone like Moxi. She was wealthy but not carelessly throw around money wealthy.
The lawyer sitting in the middle seat took some documents out of his briefcase and placed them in front of Chi Rui on the table.
"Now that we are all here, we can speed this up and discuss the terms of Miss Du Moxi’s compensation for terminating her contract with you. According to the contract she will pay fifty million if she breaches her contract."
Another lawyer opened a briefcase of cash and placed it on the table.
"This is the fifty million yuan in cash, please sign here and here then our business will be concluded."
Chi Lian raised her foot and kicked the briefcase full of money away. It flew to the side and some bundles of money fell out and landed on the floor. If the money was not tied up in bundles, it would be flying around in the room.
Her actions were rash but her anger had multiplied when she glanced upon the money.
