Chapter 405: Betrayal of an ally.
"She is gone host, Du Moxi is gone." T4 told her.
She stopped moving. The first thought which crossed her mind was the possibility that Du Moxi had passed away.
"Her phones are switched off and no one can reach her for rehearsals. I expanded my search and discovered something weird but I need to look into it further. Du Moxi’s name appeared on the list of musicians performing for Pearl TV’s new years spring gala. Not only is she performing for them, she is the opening act."
Her hands dropped down and the expression on her face changed from shock to denial and then to fury.
Muyang had noticed the change in her mood. She had gone from being sunny to angry all of a sudden.
"What’s wrong?" he asked her.
"A crisis, a big crisis that makes me want to arrrrghhhh." she clenched her fists and punched the air twice. "Muyang, I have to go right now, I will see you later."
She took off running so fast before he could stop her. As she was running, she was dialing her brother Chi Rui’s phone at the same time.
She could hear the phone ringing but there was no answer.
