Chapter 305: The Wang’s show up
On the virtual screen, a little pink pig was facing backwards, refusing to look at its host. It’s fleshy buttocks were twisting from side to side with a little tail wagging slowly every once in a while. It had been sulking for a full minute, weeping as well even though a system could not technically weep.
The sight had Chi Lian dying of laughter in the car. She was laughing so loudly that the guards were once again forced to wonder if something nefarious was going on with the young miss.
With rumors of ghosts running rampant in the emperor’s courts, who knew what could be going on in the car? Could she be haunted as well?
This time round, it was a female guard that knocked on the car window at the behest of the colleagues.
Chi Lian quickly calmed herself down and rolled the window down. "Yes," she said to the guard. She didn’t understand why every little sound out of her mouth worried them so much.
"Uhm, miss is everything okay?" she asked worriedly. Like her former colleague, her eyes were roaming around, trying to find a non existent threat inside the car.
"I am okay, I just received some good news, you can get back to your duties." She answered. "Nobody should bother me again, I am on phone and I need no interruptions."
With her phone in her hand, she had a good excuse.
"Yes miss." The bodyguard stepped away however she kept looking back in wonder. The young miss’s moods were really unstable, one minute she was screaming in anger and the next she was laughing hysterically. What kind of phone call was she having and who was she talking to?
