Chapter 303: Jealous
First of all, she was very pleased with the way Muyang was including himself in the family. He kept saying, ’we and ’us’’ which brought a smile to her face. This clearly meant that he fully accepted her family as his. She was happy because he was protecting them just as much as he protected her.
If it had not been for him, she would not have known that her mother was suffering again at the hands of that wicked woman.
However, it was Christmas and she did not want to spend her Christmas worrying about what may or may not happen. She was incredibly grateful for his heads up, in case the Wang’s showed up she would give her brothers a heads up so that they did not simply jump into their arms and offer everything up to them on a silver platter.
Besides, there was no conclusive evidence that the Wang’s were related to her mother. If the DNA results were here she would know but right now, she was operating on theories.
Until she had concrete evidence, she was putting it in the back of her mind for now and planning to enjoy herself.
"Come on, we should go down, I am sure people are beginning to wonder where we are right now." she took his hand with the intention of leading him out of the bedroom.
She stood up first and tried to pull him up but he pulled her back and she fell onto his body and he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"What are you doing?" she asked him with some bit of laughter at his playfulness.
"Enjoying the last bit of our private time before we have to put on polite smiles and look charming for the next few hours. It’s going to be very tiring smiling and saying, ’it’s so nice to see you, how have you been. Tell me about your many children and grandchildren." he was speaking in sonorous tone which was unlike him.
She smiled at his silliness; he seemed as if he was heading into battle.
"You don’t like parties do you?" she asked.
