Chapter 276: A couple caught.
She had some things to accomplish today at work, for one, she needed to see Fu Jui. The boy had been staying with Piggy and Squirrel in their shared apartment in the phoenix building for now and apparently he had been clamoring to meet her.
She also had to see Yifei who had wasted no time moving to the capital to come and work for her in her spa. The salary, benefits and accommodation package was too great for anybody to turn down. Only a fool would do so and Yifei was no fool.
Wenli was waiting for her downstairs when she arrived and together they took the elevator up to her office.
"Boss, it’s so good to see you." Wenli said as if she was she was meeting her long lost friend after being out of touch for so many years.
"It hasn’t been that long Wenli." She replied.
"Ah, boss it has been so long, you returned from your vacation and you did not even step into the office once."
"I was busy." Chi Lian answered with a shrug. She sat down in her chair, switched on her computer and looked at Wenli with a look so familiar.
"Coffee and a snack?" Wenli asked.
"You know me so well." Chi Lian giggled.
