Chapter 244: Babies first time to skate
The ice rink filled with other families, couples and children just as Chi Lian imagined it would be. The little squeals of excitement could be heard from all corners of the place as people had fun.
Mei-Mei was as excited as Chi Lian predicted she would be. The little girl was vibrating with tons of energy, she was in her father’s arms and already, she was wiggling, trying to free herself so that she could go and play.
"I told you this place would be fun." Chi Lian said to Muyang smugly.
"Yes you did." Muyang indulged her by smiling and not telling her she had just said those words four times since they arrived.
"Should we eat first or play?" she asked eagerly.
She was eager to skate; she had not done it in a really long time. Chi Lian was a winter girl, she enjoyed every aspect of the cold weather that most people hated. For her, it was the season to cool off and let off some steam. If she could, she would be skating outside in the cold wind right now.
The burning energy provided by the serum was a bonus, she was just as eager as Mei-Mei to start playing.
"Well, the children ate something in the car so we can play for a while." Muyang answered.
Chi Lian led the way to the entrance of the skating ring, "Four tickets please two adults and two toddlers." She said to the attendant who was letting people in.
The attendant was a young adolescent boy who looked to be very bored, judging by his lack of enthusiasm and interest in the skaters. He was more interested in the computer in front of him than anything else.
"Children under the age of five don’t skate from here." He said in a dull voice.
