Chapter 241: [Bonus - ] Boredom
With Chi Lian, Muyang and the children going away for a short vacation, everyone suddenly realized that it was awfully quiet at home.
Not only was it abnormally silent, it was painfully silent. The pain was as a result of missing the children they had all grown attached to.
The old master, his wife and Muyang’s parents had followed the Chi’s to their home. The adults were all sitting in the living room, watching television or playing chess while sipping some tea and others wine quietly.
"It’s too quiet." the old madam said with a sigh.
She missed Mei-Mei so much, the little girl was always full of life. Everywhere she went, laughter followed.
"That’s because the children are not around." her husband answered without looking at her.
His head was deep in concentration on the game of chess in front of him. He was playing against Papa Chi while Muyang’s father watched them from the side.
"Do you all realize that nothing has crashed in the last one hour?" Mama Chi said and then she laughed.
Everyone could not help but join in the laughter. It was obvious that she was referring to Mei-Mei and her restless hands.
"The baby CEO of destruction is absent, who else will break things if not her?" He Weili commented.
The two women tapped their tea cups together and laughed joyfully.
