Chapter 238: More on the green gang
Surely even he would see the logic in that, it would be better if she kept going, she was already digging into the green gang. She wanted one of her people to infiltrate the gang as soon as possible but she had not found a way as of yet.
The green gang recruited on recommendations from members of their inner circle. One did not simply waltz into their territory, flex a few muscles and hope to be invited to join them. You had to know someone in the gang, in fact someone high up and respected. This person would recommend and introduce you to the higher ups who decided if you can stay or go after testing you.
In a way, the gang was operated like a company that continued running on nepotism. Relatives kept recommending their own family members and close friends so outsiders were kept out.
"No," Muyang shook his head. "If you had come to me with this information when you started this game of hide and seek, I would have told you to stop because you stumbled into dangerous and unchartered territory. The green gang is not just your average common group of criminals who run around on the street starting fights and getting arrested.
They are smart, controlled and well connected. "Muyang sat up as he explained further. "Think of it like a corporation with branches and each branch is run independently by its own president so the fall of one branch does not mean the end of the gang. If you go in there blindly, you will end up offending the wrong people and making ten times more enemies."
What he said made her wonder if she could specifically target the branch which dealt with contract killing.
"Do they have a branch that is in charge of killing and assassination specifically?" she asked keenly.
"Yes, not just killing, even the method of killing varies. They have assassins who use knives or guns, they have those who make death look like an accident, they also have those who use poison and drugs to kill. Like I said, each branch is run expertly. It’s a big company that dwells in the shadows, you won’t find answers the way you are going at it." He told her.
Now she had to reevaluate her plan of sending in one of her people. How had T4 not discovered all of this information before?
