Chapter 205: Punishing evil
Chi Lian tightly held on to Muyang’s hand for strength, she had hoped that they would find him but she didn’t know that finding him would feel this way, as if she was suddenly whole and fulfilled. A big sense of relief coursed through her body.
"Muyang, it’s really him, right?" she asked for assurance.
"It’s him." Muyang reassured her in a hoarse voice. He was holding back a large volume of emotions which were trying to overflow within him. The biggest one was relief; there would be no more wondering, no more fear, no more anxiety. This little boy who looked so much like him was no doubt his son and he was finally coming home.
"Host, Rebecca Mu must have been aware of the sewers because she is down there making her escape."
"The military will arrest her when she pops out, they have her picture already."
As long as that woman was choosing to escape through the same sewers they used, why should she worry?
"Host, you seem to have forgotten that those are not the only tunnels running underneath this school. She is heading in a totally different direction I am sure she already planned for such a day because some members of staff are going with her." T4 informed her seriously.
"Not on my watch." She replied.
She approached the bed aggressively and plucked away the monitoring equipment attached to her sons head, and then she carefully removed the feeding tube and other IV bags. Her little son just kept watching her with questioning eyes.
"Muyang, get him out of here right now. That woman is trying to escape after all this, there is no way I am letting her go." She informed him, trying her best not to raise her voice in front of her son.
"You can’t go alone." He said.
