Chapter 198: Who does the little princess love more?
Muyang looked at her as she seriously observed the blue prints on the wall, marking off a few spots here and there with a marker she picked up from his desk. Now that she was back, he felt whole, like there was no mountain he could not scale. Her relentless optimism and bubbliness never failed to fill him with iron clad strength.
He reached his hand out, touched her shoulder and pulled her to stand close to him. With his arm comfortably wrapped around her shoulder, he looked at the spots she marked off. What had she seen that he did not see?
"What is it?" he asked her.
"I don’t see their kitchen, this is the cafeteria, but there is no kitchen. Usually the cafeteria is close to the kitchen in most schools but not in this case. It’s making me curious" She said. "Where is it on the blue prints?"
"It’s..."he carefully looked around as he tried to find it on the blue prints but a sudden cry from the corner drew his attention.
"The little princess is awake." Chi Lian abandoned him and raced to the corner. When she noticed the name plate at the door, she laughed softly.
She pushed it open and approached the little bed where Mei-Mei was sitting up, rubbing her eyes and sniveling. "Our CEO Meiyang, who is making you cry?" She asked in a baby voice.
Mei-Mei turned her big brown eyes on her and raised her hands up, asking to be carried, crying even louder than she had been doing before.
Chi Lian carried her and sat her on her waist. She then walked out of the little partitioned office and sat on a sofa. She rubbed Mei-Mei’s head softly in comforting movements. "What’s wrong my little princess?" she asked.
