Chapter 167: Date [2]
Despite her insistence, Muyang refused to reveal the truth to her. The car stopped at a mall with a high end boutique where she changed into an outfit similar to his. Black jeans, white cotton turtle neck shirt and a black coat with sneakers.
As she was changing, Muyang took advantage of the little time to buy a few dresses for her as a surprise. They were to be delivered to her home immediately.
Before changing, she realized that the colors of her outfit were coordinating with his. "Is this a couple outfit?" she asked as soon as she came back to him where he was waiting outside the car.
"Mmm." He mumbled uncomfortably. He was looking up at the sky, probably feeling embarrassed.
She could not help but wonder whose idea this was. If she had to guess, it was Wenzhe’s idea; Muyang was not the trendy date idea type. He was old fashioned or traditional; to him a date was high end food in a high end hotel. Or so she assumed anyway.
She chuckled and hugged his arm, "Well," she said cheekily, "Now everyone that sees us will know that you are my man."
He cleared his throat and smiled broadly, like the winner of a big lottery. "En." He responded.
"Now will you tell me where we are going?" she asked.
"We are walking to the night market; Wenzhe said that the food there is authentic and trendy so I thought you would enjoy trying it out."
He was right, her face lit up like a Christmas tree when she heard about authentic food.
"Come on, let’s go then." She tugged at his hand persistently. "You two, don’t just hover around, enjoy yourselves." She pointed at Wenli and Wenzhe.
