Chapter 147: Succubus Su
Boxes after boxes followed a similar trail to a lone mansion in the western wing of the Emperor’s courts. A group of flustered employees were doing their best to hurriedly un pack, clean and organize the house before the new occupants who were due to arrive at any moment could walk in.
"Who is moving in?" a few residents came from far and near and gathered at the short gate of the mansion.
"Have you heard anything about anyone moving in?" one neighbor asked the other.
"Has anything big happened in the empire recently?" Someone else asked.
It was not every day that someone moved into the Emperor’s courts. Certainly not with such swift intrusion and military care. Some of the people moving the boxes into the mansion were soldiers which left the neighbors wondering, just who was this strong character that was moving in?
The strong character everyone in the Emperor’s courts was curious to know about was currently sitting in a private plane with her eyes tightly closed and a cat in her lap.
Three hectic filled days of packing up, closing the office and non-stop phone calls to coordinate a sudden move had caught up to her physically and the exhaustion was visible. For her family, this move was big because not only were they moving; the Jun’s were moving, all the three companies and every employee. Nobody was left behind, not even the special flowers in the garden at home. Everything had been uprooted and shipped off.
Unlike Chi Lian who was exhausted and sleeping, Chi Zimo was wide awake and looking outside at the clouds and scenery below through the airplane window. "I can’t believe we are moving to the Imperial capital....A city...the city that never sleeps_"
"Shut up." Chi Wei threw a lollipop at him and pulled a blanket over his head.
