Chapter 121: Fool me once
Everyone was simply speechless. The old woman was running away so fast that she didn’t seem to be old at all.
"Is she really old or am I going blind?" someone asked.
"Is she a former Olympic sprinter?"
"Does anyone know what exercises she does, I think my parents are similar to her in age but they are not that flexible. If I know how she maintains her health I can give that same plan to my parents." A man said.
"We should ask them?"
Most eyes looked at Wen Li, her mother and father expectantly. They wanted an explanation on the sudden supernatural ability of the old woman.
The officers ignored the expectant looks from some people in the crowd and carried out their duty. They did it vigilantly just in case these people tried to sprint away like the old woman.
"You three are under arrest." The lead officer said and his men handcuffed them.
Chi Lian waved goodbye to her aunt and winked as the officers led them away shamefully.
"Wait, my daughter is injured. You should arrest her as the assailant." She screamed and fought. Three officers were pulling her to the car forcefully as she squealed loudly. Her coarse voice was very annoying and irritating, it was like a pig being slaughtered.
"Ma’am if you don’t shut up and stop fighting we will be forced to use force against you." The officer warned. He could not take it anymore, if she kept squealing, they would be forced to stuff a rug into her mouth.
