Chapter 86: Mei-Mei almost dies.
Chi Lian reached her arms out and grabbed Mei-Mei swimming with her to the edge of the pool. She then proceeded to check her breathing. She tilted her head back and sealed her mouth over hers breathing air into her lungs.
After a short while, she did chest compressions taking care not to break the ribs of the little girl. To her great relief, her efforts paid off and the little girl coughed up some water and regained consciousness.
T4 alerted the Chi family bodyguards who came into the Jun residence and surrounded the little miss.
"Get a car, we are going to the hospital immediately." she ordered.
While Mei-Mei had regained consciousness for a while and coughed up the water, her vitals were still not good. In fact she was unconscious again. Something was wrong, she needed to see a doctor immediately.
"Chi-Chi, what happened?" The old master and old madam came rushing to the scene anxiously. They were closely followed by the royals who had just returned hotly on their heels.
Without answering, Chi Lian waited for one of the female bodyguards to carry Mei-Mei out and immediately she lunged at Miss Chu.
She slapped her four times and punched her in the stomach.
"If anything happens to my daughter, I am going to give you a very painful death so pray desperately that she survives this ordeal." she threatened dangerously. Her eyes were so cold that Miss Chu shivered.
"Detain her, if she escapes, I will not be merciful." she ordered the bodyguards.
While miss Chu was screaming her innocence, Chi Lian run out of the mansion and entered the car which had been prepared for her. Mei-Mei had already been rushed to the hospital by mama Chi and the female bodyguards.
