Chapter 71: Rescuing the queen of soaps
She sent a drone to the room to see what was taking place inside. If it was paparazzo worthy, she would get the pictures and leave.
What was happening in the room however was unexpected. She had assumed that Jian Yu was willingly entered the room but the scenario before her was quite different. Jian Yu appeared to be struggling. The man inside the room was trying to force himself on her.
His bodyguards were tightly guarding the door to make sure that she could not escape.
Where was Jian Yu’s manager? How could he sell his artiste out like this? This pervert even had a camera on a tripod which was recording the rape.
Chi Lian clenched her fists. If she did not expose these people, she would not be a worthy paparazzo.
"T4, how do I go about rescuing her?"
"I could hack the cameras and shut them down."
That could work but she would be seen heading to the room physically. If she fought the men, security would be alerted. The man inside would also be alerted and easily spin the story to claim Jian Yu was in the room willingly. Her manager would collaborate that false story and Jian Yu’s career would be over. Without proof, how could she defend herself?
If Chi Lian presented the proof, questions would be asked about she acquired the footage. She needed to find another way in.
"T4, it’s already dark outside, can you switch off the power in this area briefly, just this hotel and the buildings next to it. Around two to three minutes I think."
"It’s doable."
