Chapter 54: The impenetrable fortress
True it’s word, the dog which she had named Black guard led her up the mountain and showed her the mountain fortress. This place was so high up that if one did not know of its existence, they would not be able to reach it.
It was built from stone and appeared to be part of the mountain itself. It was likely that someone dug a very large cave and built their hidden lair inside. The entrance was hidden by a thick foliage of thorny poisonous trees. If one tried to stealthily enter using this route, they would end up injured and probably poisoned to death.
It was surrounded by armed guards who wore masks at all times. There were even security cameras in every corner. This place was locked down tighter than any prison she had ever seen.
Who exactly was this Situ Bao? How did he afford all this?
For three days, she had studied the fortress and looked for all possible angles to infiltrate it from but each plan was no good. Every scenario ended with her capture.
So far, she had no plan. It was almost coming to a week and she was nowhere near done with her mission.
"T4, do some heavy research on this Situ Bao, we need to know who he works for before anything else."
As T4 did his research, she continued to watch the fortress through her binoculars. There was nothing much to see from the outside.
