Chapter 25: Sweet Jun
Just when Chi Lian thought that she and Mei-Mei were going to land on the floor, a hand wrapped around her waist and she was pulled into a masculine chest. When she raises her head, her eyes landed on the handsome face of Jun Muyang.
He steadied her as she shushed Mei-Mei who was crying in shock.
Wen Li was shamelessly admiring Jun Muyang that she forgot all about Ji Haolin who had come all this way to defend her.
"You need better security." Jun Muyang said as he looked over the new faces in the Chi household.
"I am working on it." She replied with a smile.
Burning with jealousy and fury as she watched the interaction between the handsome man and Chi Lian, Wen Li blurted out, "That little bastard in her hands is her child. She probably doesn’t even know who the father is."
"I haven’t slapped you properly." Chi Lian said. "You must be hungry for a proper beating."
Ji Haolin was furious when he saw that Chi Lian was not denying the allegations Wen Li was making about her being a mother.
Through gritted teeth, he asked, "Chi Lian whose child is that?"
"And how is that any of your business?" she asked nonchalantly.
"Because if she is yours, it means you cheated on me during our relationship. How could you?" His face had the look of a betrayed innocent man.
