Chapter 305
Now that we’ve heard from all the Oracles, the Representatives start to argue about how much validity each of the warnings about our Pantheon should hold. Of course, none of them agree, so I move over to sit by the others while they argue, stroking Lala’s fluffy bunny ears.
Everything seems to be going well, and they’ve almost reached a conclusion when the most gut wrenching feeling comes over me. Someone has opened a portal under my seat and is trying to throw me through the planes again. Only this time Lala is mostly in my lap, with Elder Song on one side and Lelou on the other.
They all grab tightly to me and each other, with Hui’Jin climbing on top. The last thing I hear before the transition is complete is the roar of a dragon and the sound of claws tearing cloth as we’re pulled out of reality.
Just as we leave the Divine Plane and enter the limbo between Realms I feel a tug at my consciousness and the five of us are pulled into some sort of isolated space.
The amount of energy here is incredible, and it seems to be in some raw form I’ve never experienced before. It’s somewhat similar to Divine Energy, only not. There’s no hint of life or will to it like Divine Energy has. Could this be pure Cosmic Energy? We seem to be floating in a cloud that isn’t water vapor, an unsettling feeling for certain, but our surroundings are just too fantastic for me to care.
On closer inspection, it appears we’re in a nebula, just loose elements everywhere and immense amounts of energy for as far as the senses coin comprehend. As far as I can tell, we’re in space, but the nature of the Creation Sphere is a mystery, so this could all be an illusion, one giant learning program beyond Immortal comprehension.
Then I see Karl, floating our way at a tremendous rate of speed. He seems comfortable here, as if he’s been here a while, so this must be the Creation Sphere. By my guess, it’s a type of hidden Realm. Fully stocked but unformed.
"Welcome, the Divine Transfer the you through reality at exactly the time. I’ve finished the construction and calibration of a Dyson Sphere for cultivation, you’re just in time to test it out." Moving here requires only a thought, and after a few attempts, we’re all following along behind him effortlessly.
The Dyson Sphere he created is a latticework of impossible complexity encircling a star. It’s mostly just a bare structure, covered in runes and inscriptions, but it radiates an amazing level of energy, hundreds of times stronger than the ambient in this already intense realm.
"Sit and cultivate a while. The Mortals should become Immortal in a few days, and the rest of us will quicky build our Divine Body. Song can just do whatever it is that Divinities do when nobody is worshiping them."
The old man chuckles at that and begins to inspect the structure. "We learn new things of course, comprehend natural laws. It’s not until you’ve fully comprehended one that you can advance out of the Immortal Realm, and it’s not until you’ve mastered and transcended it that you can be called a true God."
