The others looked between all those people Xiao Ling talked about with admirations. There was no fears, not even the slightest. They had been with them for so many months and if they wanted to harm them they’d have long perished without knowing anything. The only thoughts on mind was envy and jealousy, they were jealous of their strengths and how they can cultivate faster than them, they now knew the reason for that. The only person with problems was Chuntao.
"Okay you all should go, let’s continue later." Xiao Ling quickly shooed them away, they were really unwilling to go but had to go because of the look on Yanzhi’s face.
"Chuntao you stay." As they started leaving one after the other Xiao Ling called Chuntao who looked to want to talk but didn’t have the courage. "What do you have to say? Just say it out, you’re now mine and Xiang gong’s daughter-in-law and the other half of our son, we have to take care of you while the cub is still young." his tone was full of seriousness.
"Br..... Are you my brother?" after staying mute for a while she directed her question to Yanzhi.
"What do you think?" Yanzhi asked coldly. She stood still and remained mute with a complicated expression for a while, after a while as if she found the answer to her question she returned back to her normal state. "Eldest brother forgive me. I asked rather a silly question." she bowed respectfully her tone regretful.
Yanzhi glanced at her and hummed without saying anything, but his tone and his expression was no longer cold. Xiao Ling also smiled shere she couldn’t see. "Then I’ll take my leave now." she said to them. Before going Yanzhi said to her "you should come and see the egg more often.....your bond will strengthen more." Chuntao stopped in her tracks "okay!" she responded without turning and left them to themselves.
"She’s not that bad!" Xiao Ling said satisfied with her. "En." Yanzhi hummed taking the nest from Xiao Ling and started feeding them with spiritual energy. As if they wanted to complain to the unreliable first time parents for starving them, the eggs shook once or twice as the were being fed.

Except for the elders and core residents of TianXin, no one else knew about Xiao Ling laying the eggs and the information exposed by him. The eggs got bigger and bigger as they were fed with spiritual energy by Yanzhi and it has already been a month and some days now since they were laid. They seem to have no sign of breaking out of the shell yet, their parents were relaxed about that but the brothers and sisters and uncles were so anxious that they were pulling on their hairs.
