The days went by quickly and soon a month passed by after TianXin Auction House held their first auction. The competition was held and the 200 disciples were selected to go into the secret realm. A few days before the day the secret realm opens all those who had the tokens bought from the auction house swarm to Yucheng county and Big Stone Village. Seeing him strode towards him in a hurry with an unknown egg which looked to be hatching, Yanzhi watched him suspicious and doubtful.
"....little wife... did you lay an egg?" he didn’t hide his doubts and asked. Xiao Ling almost stumbled in his steps and stopped watching Yanzhi with wide opened eyes and mouth in a complete shock. Bee, Knight, Shadow and Frost King snorted trying to hold back their laughters. Yue, Lin, Feng, Chang, Liu, Baihu and Mei Lin turned to him curiously with their expected eyes. And Jinhua, doctor Shi, old Fei and Tang Fan were with very confused and clueless look. Although doctor Shi and Jinhua knew about Yue and her brothers and sisters being demonic beasts but they didn’t know about Yanzhi and Xiao Ling. And Tan Fan also knows about Bee being a dead person like the rest of the people from the beggar’s gang who were now under Shadow, although doctor Shi, Jinhua and old Fei now knows about the undead soldiers but they didn’t know much about anything else. Yanzhi had a regretful look "it seems so." he returned back to having a lazy look and lost the enthusiasm he just had a moment ago.
Xiao Ling snorted and ignored his look as he climbed onto the platform and took a seat beside Yanzhi placing the hatching eggs between them. He sat and listened quietly as they proceeded on with their discussions and once or twice added something to their discussions.
Not long more cracks appeared on the egg and it broke into pieces and the eggshells fell. Revealing inside was a chick of an unknown bird. "Xiang gong it hatched!" Xiao Ling announced looking at the chick with disgust on his face. Yanzhi had already noticed but didn’t care about it. Turning to face the disgusted look on Xiao Ling’s face he wanted to see what had him make that face. His eyes shrank and was a little stunned. "From the Phoenix Clan?" he muttered doubtfully and everyone heard his words. They revealed shocked one after the other.
"S-sect master, you said a Phoenix?! Is that really a Phoenix from the legends?" old Fei stood up abruptly looking astonished and his eyes wide opened, the others were no better. Yanzhi didn’t answer right away but checked well with his qi "En!" he hummed affirmatively. "A Phoenix with pure bloodline." he added. Although old Fei didn’t understand the ’pure bloodline’ but knowing that it was a Phoenix they all turned to Xiao Ling with hot eyes. Xiao Ling ignored them and was a little excited too, in his world there there Phoenix too which were very powerful and strong monsters. No one dares to try to hunt them, even he himself will only dare to face them with a party of more than hundred players. Bee, Knight, Shadow and Frost King were also excited. They’ve all received beasts eggs to hatch for themselves, seeing what Xiao Ling hatched they couldn’t help being with expectations.
