Chapter 89: Ch. 41 Part 2
"She speaks! Aunt An speaks and moves!" the masses cheered. They had wanted to approached her and ask her how she was feeling and a lot, but because Yanzhi was still there they restrained themselves lest they angered him.
The woman called An had tears in her eyes as she looked down at her son who kept pulling her dress, she bent down to pick him up when she noticed a stone in her hand. She looked at it curiously without any impression of it, she didn’t know what it was or it’s use nor how it got into her hand so she had intention to throw it away. Seeing her intentions
"Loose that and you’ll go back to being just a corpse without consciousness, no more than an unmoving corpse." Yanzhi warned.
The woman was startled by such oppressive and warning tone. She hadn’t noticed him there at all.
"Wh-who are you?" she asked frightened and with caution.
"Insolence! Kowtow and thank his excellency. His excellency has granted you a second life and is this how you thank him?" Tan Fan scolded dissatisfied with her question and her tone.
Her eyes widened seeing their gang master, but seeing his dissatisfactions and from his words the young man in front of her saved her. She noticed the others watching her with dissatisfactions too, so she quickly kowtowed as she was told and thanked.
Yanzhi didn’t mind because he knew it wasn’t her fault, the undeads master was Xiao Ling and not him. So they would instantly had recognized their master if Xiao Ling was there, all he did was assistant Xiao Ling in rising them but it was Xiao Ling’s qi lingering in them. He ignored such meaningless things and walked with Tan Fan as he got the names of the rest of the undeads and carved their names on jade stones for all before they also regained consciousness. The jade stone with their names were something he improvised with, so some had rough jade stones and others smooth jade stones like that of An. After all undead regained consciousness, their relatives and fellow members explained the situations to them so they got to know that they were saved and brought back amongst the living by Yanzhi and his wife and that they now belonged to the couple. They all cried bitterly and thankful and kowtowed thanking Yanzhi over and over again. Knowing that now their consciousness depended on the stone jades with their names and if they happen to loose the stone jades they’ll be without consciousness, they hid the stone jades somewhere safe on their bodies guarding with their lives depending on it.
After everything was now settled, Yanzhi called Tan Fan and gave him a space ring with some silvers.
