Chapter 85: Ch. 40 Part 1
The man was startled sensing their presence, with much difficulty, he turned towards them looking to them with vigilance, confused and questioning eyes. Seeing his uneasiness, Tan Fan stepped forward and was about to explain the reason for their sudden intrusion. But Yanzhi beat him to it.
"Do you remember some years back a young man commissioned you for some informations, in return he will grant you three favors because he had no silver on him to pay you for your services?" Yanzhi asked as his tranquil gaze focused on the man frowning from pain.
The man looked to him with confused eyes not recalling about Yanzhi’s question, moments later after thinking it through his eyes which were without light suddenly shone brightly as he forced a smile on his face. But he became more confused since the youth back then and the man now were completely different, but he felt a little familiarity with Yanzhi.
"Ah-h it’s you! N-no wonder i felt some familiarity from you!" he forced out the words which great difficulty. He looked happy after recalling and recognizing Yanzhi.
"You’re here now....to grant the three favors promised?" he asked Yanzhi with seriousness.
"Yes" Yanzhi simple answered.
The man looked from head to toe, sizing Yanzhi up carefully. He didn’t know why but he felt that Yanzhi in front of him looking very different from the time he met him in his youth, he felt Yanzhi was reliable and can grant him any thing he asks.
"But, it’s left with two favors now"
He heard Yanzhi suddenly say. The man frowned at Yanzhi’s words.
"I have already granted you one wish which you desire" Yanzhi decided to explain even before the man ask.
The man was yet again confused, he expected Yanzhi to explain his words, but Yanzhi ignored his questioning eyes. Tan Fan who got his que stepped in.
