Chapter 83: Ch. 39 Part 1
The next day of their stay in King Pingxi’s residence in the capital, Yue, Liu, Chang and the others got up very early to tidy up the residence they were occupying. After that Yue and Liu carrying a bowl of water each, a clean cloth and a cup of salt water, walked to the room Yanzhi and Xiao Ling were occupying. With a light knock on the door,
"Master! Mistress! Yue and Liu ask permission to enter." Yue politely said from outside.
"En!" was the short reply from Yanzhi who just opened his eyes sitting in crossed leg and was resting, Xiao Ling sitting the same way as him also opened his eyes hearing the voices of Yue and Liu.
Getting permission to enter, Yue slowly pushed the door opened and walked in with Liu. "Master! Mistress! Disciples have come to serve you" Yue informed.
Both Yanzhi and Xiao Ling sat at the edge of the bed as Yue respectfully served Yanzhi while Liu served Xiao Ling. They both washed their faces with the water from the bowl, rinsed their mouths with salt water and dried with the cloth.
"Thank you Yue, Liu." Xiao Ling smiled warmly and said, the two girls giggled happily. In his past life Xiao Ling wasn’t taken care of in this manner, everything was done by himself and took care of his own needs. But now being taken care of like this was new to him, but to his surprise he really likes it because those taking care of him, were doing it whole heartedly.
"You both help me get the food ingredients ready, I’ll come make breakfast now" Xiao Ling instructed them.
"Yes mistress!" the two girls nodded and were about to walk out.
"Wait!" Yanzhi stopped them in their tracks. "Take these along" Yanzhi took out four eggs from his space which were about thrice bigger than ostrich’s eggs. Yue and Liu held two each in their hands with a bit difficulty, it was as if they were holding boulders in their arms as they walked out of the room.
